Where Does the Money Come From?
The volunteer firemen continue in the proud tradition, which dates back to the founding of the department, to purchase the best in fire fighting equipment. Today, with the high cost of equipment, the volunteers need and receive some financial help through the borough and community donations. They also derive the bulk of their funds primarily from membership dues, weekly Monday Night Bingo, fish frys, raffles, support from the Ladies Auxiliary, an annual donation drive and rentals from the Chartiers Room social hall.

Donation Information

Financial support from the community is imperative to the survival of the department. We hold several fundraisers per year that so many of you contribute to the success of. Your personal donations are also needed and greatly appreciated to ensure that the department has all that is needed to serve our community. Please consider donating to the fire department. No donation is too small!

You can mail a donation to "Bridgeville Volunteer Fire Department, 370 Commercial Street, Bridgeville, PA 15017". Please indicate a return address so that we can send a receipt.
